Your documents and you should suffice, a family member for company would be ideal. Right from caretaker to care, needs and necessities to your desires and interests can be delivered on-demand and convenience.

A non-ideal Liver will work fine and may carry a small risk of infection or Cancer, making it very similar to an ideal Liver. However, sometimes the level of risk may vary. If you are at a higher risk of dying while waiting for a Transplant then, based on the advice of your medical team you will be offered a non-ideal Liver.

If and when a non-ideal Liver becomes available we will give you the best estimate of actual increased risk from that Liver. If for any reason you’re unable to take on the risk, you can still decide to wait for another Liver. This won’t affect your status on the waiting list. Although, the risks and benefits of this decision will change over time depending on the health of your Liver.

You have to ask for an enrolment. Let your personal assistant know so that they can help you sign up. However, you can withdraw your consent or refuse a non-ideal Liver or the High-risk Transplantation program at any time doing this will not affect your status on the waiting list.
